Abraham "Abe" Nielebock is a filmmaker from Halle (Saale), who has made a variety of short films, including at the MACH Festival and the Saxony-Anhalt Youth Video Prize, and is involved with the "Verein zur Förderung der freien Kulturlandschaft e.V." worked together as a video producer. He gained early experience in wtv - der offene kanal wettin, in the JugendFilmCamp and as an intern for the television film "ZORN - Kalter Rauch", where he gained experience in reporting as well as editing short articles and documentation, as well as in the creation of articles. During his time in Halle he spent most of his time working on a voluntary basis for local associations in the areas of recording and editing.
Abraham Nielebock was involved in many other projects, such as the student films "Das brennende Schaukelpferd" as production manager, "Terradread" as unit manager, as key grip in projects such as "when i bleed", "Viel Nebel in November" and "TAU" as well as "Moloch" as assistant to the production manager. Outside of his studies, he was involved in projects such as "Hex Papa Hex" as first assistant director, worked for FYNAL as a set manager for a location image film and was involved as a lighting assistant on the series "Haus Kummerveldt". He also enjoys taking part in small projects, mainly in production and directing positions.
In the podcast "Das Set-Café" he talks to friends and colleagues Regina Grimm and Alexander Diosegi about his experiences on set, about film and series development in the industry and much more, and he publishes his own projects and sketches on YouTube and spots. The short films "IRA” and "jalousie” were created under our own direction, and "DARK ROOM” and "The Voice of Fire” were co-directed in JugendFilmCamp.
He has implemented newer own projects such as "LILA" and "Immer an deiner Seite" as a director, author and producer, among other things, and co-directed the JugendFilmCamp films "Nasse Karten schwimmen besser" and "Flugblätter".
Abraham Nielebock currently lives in Dortmund and is studying film at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences with a focus on directing, producing, screenplay and editing.
