Daniel Ernst's passion for films was ignited by his grandfather's old VHS camera, with which he produced his first short films. This passion led him to study "Film & Sound" at the University of Applied Sciences & Arts in Dortmund.
He achieved his break through with the web series "Wishlist," which won prestigious awards such as Deutscher Fernsehpreis, Grimme-Preis and Webvideopreis. Following this success, he worked on larger projects like "Schattenmoor" (ProSieben), "Almania" (ARD), and the Amazon Prime Original "Trunk." In addition, he shot successful music videos and short films, notably "Among Us," which has been viewed over 11 million times on YouTube.
Daniel focuses clearly on storytelling, where he enjoys experimenting with creative camera work and lighting. He is always on the lookout for new techniques and innovations.
