Brief synopsis
What can hold their society together when a new leader divides them?
Son, an empathetic everyman banished from his village for refusing to conform to and worship a false idol, finds a similar land where the locals bow their heads to another false king. He can only watch in horror as the two civilizations engage in a war of attrition, before the people are washed of their illusions and see their leaders for who they really are.
