Fifty-year-old Zofia meets Anna, twenty years her junior, who is to be her attorney in a lawsuit. Zofia, a psychotherapist, has been accused of misconduct for having an intimate relationship with one of her patients. The patient turns out to be a seventeen-year-old boy. What brought these two people together – desire, emotional neediness or the allure that people with entirely different personalities have for one another? The boy’s parents went on TV and presented a version of events that was very damaging to Zofia. The media have already passed judgment on the therapist, and now a court is to decide the matter. Anna immerses herself in the case, assuming various points of view (that of the lawyer, a journalist, the boy’s mother). The initial mistrust and hostility between the women begin to transform into a peculiar bond. The play reflects upon taboos, the position of women in society, ageing, and the emotions that constantly force us to review our outlook on life.
