A father-son fairy tale based on a true fantasy: The single, cranky Hajo and his now grown-up son Hasso have always lived on an old farm in the Westerwald, completely shielded from the outside world. The father only leaves occasionally to sell the paintings of his late artist grandfather. He does everything he can to ensure that life in the Westerwald with his last remaining family member remains as it is forever. Hasso, on the other hand, aspires to more and his longing grows daily under his father's watchful eye.
