Brief synopsis

The documentary film tells the story of the 53-year-old Parkinson's patient Cecilia Ferrari who wants to swim across the Strait of Messina in a traversata.

She was in her early 40s and in the midst of life. When she got the diagnosis Parkinson Cecilia Ferrari had to face a heavy blow. But she succeeded in finding her own way of dealing with the disease, and ten years after her diagnosis she set herself a big goal: to participate in a traversata. She wants to swim across the Strait of Messina, several kilometers from Messina to the Italian mainland. A big goal, since her movement is severely limited by the disease. The three directors accompany her on the journey from Lake Maggiore to Sicily. SWIM FOR GOOD tells the story of a strong woman whose motivation can be inspiring for many patients.
