Brief synopsis
Schmone18Esre is an artistic multimedia project as part of the initiative "1,700 Years of Jewish Life in Germany" funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior. The project consists of 18 filmed interviews with Jewish personalities from Germany and aims to present the diversity of this life. The interviews will subsequently be published on various platforms. There will also be an exhibition with video installations. In addition, there will be the publication of a high-quality book. A montage of the interviews to a complete documentary film is planned for later.
Among the Jewish personalities who will be interviewed are well-known people such as Prof. Michael Friedmann or the writer Vladimir Kaminer.
