Every seven years the people of Dinkelscherben are out of control and the small Bavarian village becomes its own little world that is difficult for outsiders to understand. When the young “Schäfflertänzer” (eng: Cooper Dancers) parade through the streets in winter, the "Cooper Virus" infects the people and booze flows in masses. After only a few weeks, however, the tradition is forever over for most of the young participants.
