Lina Westphal

I was born in 1995 in Aachen, where I grew up and obtained my university entrance qualification in 2015. After graduating from high school, I traveled and worked across New Zealand for a year. Thrilled by the impressions of my trip, I decided to work for the German Lufthansa as a flight attendant and travel the world right after my return in 2016. Despite the wonderful experiences in all parts of this world, I wanted to express myself more creatively and in 2018 I started a "Communication Design" study at the FH Aachen besides flying. I put my focus in film and directing with Prof. Knezy-Bohm. I finished the first own big project "Butcherette" with singer and producer Lucy Dye in May 2020. This was followed by my last major project "Tr4P" (2022), with which I achieved success at several international festivals. In the summer of 2023 I'm aiming for my Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on "Film and Directing" at the FH Aachen.
