Brief synopsis

In the small tranquil village of Bad Seehaus, people are dancing into May. However with a While elsewhere the boys and girls get their traditional costumes out of the closet, Seehaus has always welcomed the month of May with a "Hippie Party". The whole village is on and meets in the old barn at the market. The first of May, however, is overshadowed by a mysterious death: in the early hours of the morning Theresa Hartl is found dead in the hayloft. Yesterday she was still celebrated and danced merrily and met the one and other sweetheart. Precarious about the situation: the village reporter slept next to her half the night! Great commotion in the whole village. After all, real estate agent Theresa Hartl was not only popular in the village. place. She was always a bit more of a town lady than a village girl, was not averse to a hot affair a hot affair and knew how to quickly turn farmland into building land - at least if she had previously bought it cheaply. With her husband Peter and daughter Lilly, she led a picture-perfect family life. picture-book family life. But even in the countryside, all that glitters is not always gold.

The small office in the village finally gets a real case. How good that the team around Detective Rütten has just finally received reinforcements. A new inspector starts her duty. Melanie Liebling is young, dedicated and not as strange as one might think. To keep the village gossip in check for the time being, the detective councilor and the inspector conceal the fact that that they are uncle and niece. Not least because it is already known in the office, that Rütten's brother (and favorite father) is the Bavarian police chief. Finally would like Melanie Liebling to start her service without prejudices. The reinforcement is just what Rütten needs. His only inspector, Franz Ertl, is not only a native of Seehauser, but also on a first-name basis with almost all the locals. with almost all the locals - in some cases, since kindergarten. And so he has always been with all the victims and perpetrators. Whether in a traffic offense or a murder case, police work for him is always close to the Spezlwirtschaft. At least that's how it feels to Detective Rütten from Cologne when the Upper Bavarian inspector goes out. How fitting that at the same time as the death, a report of theft in the church is received in the office. arrives at the office. Rütten doesn't have to think long: Ertl is to go to the church - Liebling is to find out whether the death was caused by someone else. But it's not as simple as the boss imagines. After all, a village holds together, especially when the "new girl" wants to know more. In their search for the truth, a possible perpetrator and the praise of God from the church, the investigators encounter shrill and ecological villagers, affairs of all sexes, musicians who were thought to have disappeared and musicians who were thought to have disappeared, and eccentric summer visitors.

Village life in Bad Seehaus also takes place in the inn. Here, people politicize, gossip and investigate in all and investigated in all directions. Landlady Hanni is not only in lively communication with the guests, but also with but also with Leni - what Hanni doesn't know, Leni knows, and vice versa. In the end it is the good soul who finds the decisive clue. Who the good soul is, why one has no chance against the Lord God and what Greece has to do with Seehaus, you will only find out if you follow "Heustadlbluat" to the end...

In Bad Seehaus, people dance hard into May. In the early morning hours the Real estate marketer Theresa Hartl is found dead. An accident or even murder? A short time Shortly after, a robbery is discovered in the church. A Freinachtsstreich or even force majeure? Detective Rütten has to make a decision: both cases are important. The team has to split up. The "newcomer" Melanie Liebling is to take care of the dead woman, Inspector Franz Ertl of the church robbery. the church robbery. This division is not only displeasing to the commissioners - in the village, too, "the new girl" has a hard time with the locals. Ertl, on the other hand, would rather "investigate for real" than look for than to look for old songbooks. Of course, the two cases do not escape the notice of the villagers: at the regulars' table in the pub garden and no opportunity is missed to point out Ertl's "service at the highest" level.
service at the highest level.
