Brief synopsis
The disappearance of U.S. citizen Gabby Petito was probably the most spectacular criminal case of 2021. The 22-year-old was searched for weeks by her family and the police. A host of amateur Internet detectives also investigated. The phenomenon has its own name: Armchair Detectives.
