Juno is dead. As far as medicine is in 2030, it could not save the life of Hanna's daughter. For two years now Juno is no longer there
and yet Hanna spends every day with her. In Juno's nursery there is a cube, the "Echoehub". The device is controlled by an artificial intelligence into which information about deceased persons can be fed and which calculates from this possible scenarios that the deceased could have experienced in the future. Again and again, Hanna relives new scenarios in which she accompanies Juno through all the happy milestones she can no longer experience. Hanna's wife Paula initially thought the AI in the nursery was a good method of grieving, but for several months she has been increasingly reaching her limit. She decides to put her wife into cold turkey withdrawal. What she didn't count on, however, is what drastic measures Hanna is willing to resort to in her search for happiness.
