Upon his release from prison, forty-four-year-old Dieumerci decides to change his life and to follow his dream: to become an actor. To do so, he follows an acting course which he pays for through part-time jobs. But there are still challenges ahead. His partner Clément, twenty-two years old, is his exact opposite. Dieumerci must make do with this little "pain in the ass." He welcomes him into his precarious life, consisting of a modest hotel room and building work jobs. As hardships and rehearsals go by, our two heroes will learn to know and to support each other in an attempt to reach the impossible star.
