November 1989, Berlin Zehlendorf.
Lukas is 6 years old and his parents are fighting again when he decides to run away. He packs his things and starts hiking until he is suddenly stopped by the Berlin Wall. He is shocked, Berlin is walled in, they are trapped! When his brother tries to explain the division of Germany to him, Lukas remains stubborn! On the map you can see it very clearly: It is not the east of Berlin that is walled in, but the west. Together with his cuddly toy he plans to liberate Berlin. When the images of the fall of the Berlin Wall flicker across the television screen the next morning, Lukas is the only one who really understood the magic of that night.
