Brief synopsis

In the Bernese Oberland - between traditional alpine farming, ecology and tourism, climatic changes put people, animals and plants to the test.

The Bernese Oberland is a region of superlatives. Here lies the largest glacier in the Alps, here impress the largest underground waterfalls in Europe and here rises the Aare, the longest river in the country. At the mercy of the forces of nature, traditional ways of life are undergoing lasting change. The 90-minute documentary shows how people, plants and animals cope with the climatic changes.
