A Son Of Man

For years, Pipe dreamed of his explorer father, machete in hand, cutting his way through the jungle between the Amazon and Andes. When a letter arrives inviting him to join his father on an expedition to find the lost treasure of the Incas, Pipe is determined to prove himself worthy of the challenge. But once in Ecuador he faces the harsh reality of a parent in the grip of an obsession that has consumed generations of their family – and he starts to have doubts. What is the fabled ‘secret’ behind the treasure? Does it exist, or is it a tantalizing folly?

Then, one-by-one, the crew start to disappear and as father and son are drawn deeper into the jungle, Pipe must grapple with a terrible choice: to be the son his father demands... or to try and escape the jungle alive.
