Brief synopsis

"Flaming Armadillo" is the name of the drink that barmaid Anita (Barbara May) serves to her beau Fred (Mark Bellinghaus). She explains that this is how you seal a farewell in the Caribbean, but Fred doesn't get it.
It all started when Fred, a junkyard mechanic gifted with golden hands, turned her car into a beautiful luxury convertible after a pileup.
After an argument with jealous nightclub boss Aldo, Anita takes off and escapes to Fred's junkyard. Fred is overjoyed and does everything he can to make his beloved guest feel at home. It doesn't take long for Anita to get fed up with this romance. Fred thinks that only the rotten accommodation is to blame for the misfortune. He sells off the junkyard and uses the money to buy her an expensive apartment - hoping to win Anita back and live there with her. Anita may be a "fallen angel," but she won't be bought. She gives Fred back the apartment and disappears into higher spheres.
