Brief synopsis

Four years in the making – and thousands of kilometers later – from Sweden to Ethiopia, Tanzania, India and Nepal, our passionate pursuit and labor of love will be ready for screens early 2019. Our two-woman team – Natasha Illum Berg and Kire Godal – have almost completed our dream.

This story started 100 years ago with Bengt Berg’s love and superhuman dedication to wildlife, conservation, filmmaking and photography and has spanned over time and space to his granddaughter, Natasha Illum Berg, whose equal love and dedication are alive and active today…

What began as a one-hour documentary shot and directed by Kire Godal – has turned into a 4 part mini series! Following four of Bengt’s most important wildlife expeditions a century after him – we encountered intimate stories on nature and wildlife, from the common crane migration from Sweden to Ethiopia, shoebills and elephants in Tanzanian swamps, Indian rhinos along the border of Bhutan, and bearded vultures in the Himalayas – these unique stories sum up much of where we find ourselves today on our planet – our beautiful globe…crisscrossed with the invisible lines of bird skypaths.
