Brief synopsis

A German baker travels to Jerusalem in search of the wife and son of his dead lover.

David, a highly talented konditor from Berlin who left a promising career beyond him, and Anat, a young Israeli coffee-shop owenr who lost her husband in tragic circumstances, meet in a small kitchen in Jerusalem. As they will slowly rekindle the light in each other’s lives, a dark secret will threaten to emerge from the past. A story about hidden identities, about jealousy that turns to compassion, and about exquisite, splendid delicacies.
