    Brief synopsis

Five people with completely different backgrounds come together in the same situation. They have all lost their jobs, but deal with their problems in very distinct ways.

Work takes up half of your life; for the uneployed, it occupies every single day. Amelie is a lawyer, who holds on to her belief that a duke is a duke no matter what. Bella, a diet consultant, on the other hand, has lost all confidence in herself and her future. Former media producer Klaus wants to get back to work despite his age. So does Ulli, a shy man trained to be a web-designer, who cannot get a job for lack of experience. For Heike, an ergotherapist, the only real thing is working with children.

The five of them come together in the spring of 2002 at sessions with the unconventional coach Thomas Heinle. He is convinced that you only have a chance, if you do what you really want to. He expects passion from everyone for themselves and their dreams.

The film accompanies the five over a period of a few months, the doubts, hopelessness and the moments of happiness on their quests for their own vocation.
