Brief synopsis
Once upon a time ...
On her way to go shopping in nearby Poland, Sylvia abandons her two rebellious stepchildren Lea (8) and Konstantin (7) on a country road. Upon her return, Silvia cannot bring herself to confess the truth about her absence to her husband, the children's father. The children meet a Pole who supplies restaurants with toiletries and promises to bring them home. Meanwhile, the unsuspecting father sets off with the stepmother in search of the supposedly abducted children. Benjamin Heisenberg collaborated on the screenplay for this film by Christoph Hochhäusler.
