Dieter Landuris studied acting in Germany, at the famous Otto-Falckenberg-Acting School in Munich. He is a stage and film actor. He was in the cast of well known german stages like "Grips Theater Berlin", the "Theater am Kurfürstendamm", „Staatsoperette Dresden" or the "Landestheater Salzburg". He toured the world with the big hit musical „LINE 1" (also in english version in New York, London, Jerusalem, Australia, etc.) Since 2009 he's been performing as a brilliant 95 old character in the hit show FOREVER YOUNG at the Renaissance Theatre, Berlin. His film appearance is reminiscent of Al Pacino. His break through came with the famous detective series ALLES AUSSER MORD (1994-97) playing the tricky detective Uli Fichte, directed by Roland Suso Richter, Sigi Rothemund, Kai Wessel and other named german directors. Important movie features are the award winning black comedy DIE MUTTER DES KILLERS (1997) directed by Volker Einrauch, the comedy DAS MERKWÜRDIGE VERHALTEN GESCHLECHTSREIFER GROSSSTÄDTER ZUR PAARUNGSZEIT (1998, german and bavarian Filmprizes), directed by Marc Rothemund. Landuris is a significant versatile performer known for the charismatic lover in comedy movies as much as the gentle anti-hero in romantic dramas or the quirky bird in black comedies. He starred in successful german feature films like the award winning computer thriller 23 (1999 german and bavarian filmprizes), with August Diehl, the 80ies Punkmusic drama VERSCHWENDE DEINE JUGEND (2003) or the 60ies comedy PORNORAMA (2007). In the US - german psychothriller THE CHILD (2011) Dieter Landuris starred with Eric Roberts, Ben Becker, and Sunny Mabrey. 2017 he is „The Priest" in the Horrormovie SKIN CREEPERS directed by Ezra Tsingaye. STAND UP is a feature film, directed by Timo Jacobs (2020) and had its premiere in June 2022 in german movietheatres.
Landuris is the german voice of Sharlto Copley in DISTRICT 9 and ELYSIUM, as well as the voice of Robert Gustafsson in THE 100-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO CLIMBED OUT THE WINDOW AND DISAPPEARED and its sequel.
H As a long live singer his first Solo Music Album "GÖTTLICHE AFFÄREN" was released by Koch Universal in 2006 .

2011, Dieter Landuris won the theatre prize „the golden curtain" for best acting in the songdrama „Forever Young" at the Renaissance Theater, Berlin.
2021, he won the prize for "Best supporting Actor" at the New York International Filmfestival 2021 for the Film Stand Up by Timo Jacobs.
