Wolfgang Grabow

Wolfgang Grabow was born in Berlin in 1942.
He first did an apprenticeship as a precision mechanic and worked at the same time as a projectionist at the Berliner Ensemble. After fleeing to Germany, he attended the University of Music and Theater in Zurich, today the ZHdK.
First works as an actor in tours, at the Theater am Neumarkt Zurich, at the summer games Hannover Herrenhausen, in the comedy Basel, among others under the direction of Leopold Lindtberg, Gene Reed, Karl Heinz Stroux, Egon Karter, Peter Arens, Holk Freytag and Alex Freihart . From 1973 he had permanent engagements in St. Gallen, Biel-Solothurn, Münster, Bern, Osnabrück and Kiel, and again at the Biel-Solothurn Theater from 1989 to 2004.
Freelance since 2004, as in-house director at the Hoftheater Erlach/CH and as an actor, including at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich in the MAGIC FLUTE. Filming in film/television and advertising.
Since 1968 voice work in radio, film, television, hearing libraries for the blind, regional picture offices, documentary films, cultural programs and as a voice actor in Switzerland and Germany.
