Vera Paulmann

Vera was born in London and grew up around the world.
world. She worked backstage at an off-off-Broadway
theater in New York City and subsequently studied media and
Political Science in Tübingen.
Through internships at film festivals and film production companies, she
she gained first experiences in producing while also working
on her own projects at the same time.
Her first feature film FELLWECHSELZEIT was screened at the Max Ophüls Preis and at theInternational Film Festival Rotterdam 2020.
She is an alumna of the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris 20/21, where at Filmakademie Baden-Würtemberg in co-production with the with the French university La Fémis she produced the short-film KURSCHATTEN that was broadcast on ARTE in 2022.
She's currently working as freelance producer in Mannheim and Berlin.
