Further references | Sachiko Hara was born 1964 in Kanagawa, Japan. She studied German at the Sophia University in Tokyo and worked as an actress since 1984, including as a member of the avant-garde legend theatre group Romantica. In 1999 she met Christoph Schlingensief, who engaged her for his "Deutschlandsuche”project and with whom she worked regularly till his death. From 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater Vienna. Here, further works with Christoph Schlingensief, Nicolas Stemann, René Pollesch, Sebastian Hartmann and followed. In 2009 she went to the Schauspiel Hannover, in 2012 she changed to the Schauspiel Köln,then from 2013 she is the ensamble of Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and working with Christoph Marthaler,Karin Beier,Karin Henkel and so on. Besides her work as an actress, she also works as a translator and director ("Little Boy, Big Taifoon”, "Rocco Darsow”). With her project "Hiroshima-Salon”, the unique style of performance and talkshow, she regularly gives guest performances in different cities. Now at Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg she can be seen in "J'accuse! ”, "Die Räuber der Herzen”, "Richard the King” and so on. |
