Jeannine Wacker

Jeannine was born and raised in Baden, Switzerland.
She played Calia in the sci-fi drama "SINGULARITY", which was released internationally in 2017. The film is also starring John Cusack, Eileen Grubba and Carmen Argenziano.
She was Clara Morgenstern (principal role ) in the series "Sturm der Liebe" (Storm of love) for one year.
At the moment she is playing Glinda in "Wicked" at Neue Flora in Hamburg.
From 2019-2020 she played Bettina in the webseries "Die Eintsein WG". All 3 seasons can be seen on the official YouTube channel of SRF (Swiss National TV).
2020 she could be seen at the Theater Bielefeld, in 3 productions (Lazarus, Lend me a tenor and Daddy Longlegs) and at Theater Lüneburg as Tonya in "Doctor Zhivago" and woman 1 in "Songs for a new world". She also played Sheila in HAIR in Chemnitz.


After graduating from high school, Jeannine moved to Vienna to perform as Thea in "Spring Awakening", directed by Michael Mayer.
In 2009, she moved to New York City, where she studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA)
She received scholarships both from AMDA and from the Fritz Gerber Stiftung in Zurich.
New York City credits include off- and off-off-broadway appearances as well as performances at The New York International Fringe Festival.
While in New York, Jeannine also modeled for KD Dance and was cast in multiple short film projects.
