Oliver Moritz

Oliver is a true child of the 80s and 90s television era, and even as a young boy, he would recreate all the classics in his room. After graduating in 2004, he opted for an intensive 4-year acting program, successfully completing it in 2008. Finding his place early on at Theater Strahl Berlin, he remained engaged there until 2022, enthusiastically participating in creative work with young people.

During this period, Oliver experienced not only professional successes but also significant personal milestones. He started a family by marrying his fellow actress and becoming a father of two sons.

The stage of Theater Strahl Berlin allowed him to travel to numerous cities within Germany and neighboring countries on inspiring tours, enriching his perspective and artistic inspiration.

Over the past 20 years, Oliver has acquired diverse experiences in the film industry. His expertise spans from TV films to commercials, music videos, and short films. He is also captivated by the craft of dubbing, having successfully undertaken several challenging assignments over the years. With gratitude for his development on the stage, since 2020, he has refocused on his true dream: the filmmaking craft.

In addition to his passion for acting, sports play a central role in his life. During his youth, he was an enthusiastic boxer, achieving several successful Berlin Championships, and in 1998, the title of German Vice Champion. Since 2017, he has been an advanced member of Krav Maga, a self-defense martial art.

Oliver's artistic contributions have been recognized through numerous nominations and awards. These include the Friedrich-Luft-Prize in 2019 and the Ikarus Prize in 2013, awarded by the Youth Culture Service. Colleagues equally value his reliability and collaborative nature, whether on stage, behind the scenes, or on film sets. His impressive journey and dedication to art make Oliver a remarkable figure in the entertainment industry.
