Felix Kurmayer has been an actor and speaker for 30 years. He has participated in over 122 film and theater productions. Under Claus Peymann he was a member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater Vienna, before that he was engaged at the Landestheater St. Pölten. He also played at the Stadttheater Baden & Innsbruck, the Kleine Komödie Wien & Graz, the Ateliertheater Wien, Freie Bühne Wien, Neue Bühne Wien and with the Wiener Ensemble. In summer he took part in the following festivals: Berndorf, Gutenstein, Meggenhofen, Mödling, Weissenkirchen, Sitzenberg and Weitra. He completed his training in Austria and Germany with a stage diploma. In the USA (Los Angeles) he studied film at the famous UCLA art school and also attended the film courses there at the HAW. He was seen on TV in: "Inspector Rex", "Rosenheim Cops","Soko Kitzbühel", "Tatort", and much more. His greatest theater roles were: Hamlet, Mortimer, Orest, Anatol, Christian in Cyrano de Bergerac, etc. His poetry program “Jazz meets Poetry” premiered in 2016 at the Austrian embassy in Washington.
