When I go to the cinema and watch a film, I want to have an experience. I want to be engulfed and taken into another world of ideas, images, sounds and music. This aspiration I have for a film is also my incentive for my cinematic narratives. I strive to create something that sweeps you away and transports you for a short time somewhere else, beyond our imagination, so that we can discover and immerse ourselves in other social entanglements.

In my directing work, I want to create films that physically overwhelm and trigger something in the viewer. I believe in film's special ability to reveal what is hidden in the hidden corners, what is intangible, without trying to put it into words or shamelessly decipher it. I am interested above all in observing my characters at close quarters, people under the influence of interfering forces to which they must react without really being able to direct their actions.

The viewer should become a present observer who inevitably comes face to face with the world of conflict and literally feels the emotions of the protagonists.
