Dieter Hallervorden

In 2014, Dieter Hallervorden won the renowned „German Film Award" as best male lead for his role Paul Averhoff in „Sein letztes Rennen". He likes to think of Paul as the role of his life. We would like to go a step further: Clearly, Amandus in „Honig im Kopf" was a role of his life, too! And the ex-con in „Oskar, das Schlitzohr und Fanny Supergirl"… and… and… actually, Dieter Hallervorden plays nothing but roles of his life since the last years!

Dieter was once the most acclaimed German comedian and, when shown a photo, more people were able to name him than the chancellors in office.
When Germany had their first female chancellor, it was also for the first time, that a chancellor’s reputation leveled with Dieter’s. Nowadays, Dieter is the most outstanding character actor of his age. In 2022, he opened his 3rd theatre, this time in his hometown Dessau. Why? We assume, between his days of shooting, theatre performances, managing his 2 theatres in Berlin, the book tours, writing new books, translating French plays and recurring appearances in talk shows, he really just needs something to do.
