Bettina Borgfeld

Bettina Borgfeld has been working as a director and author of documentaries since 2004, and as a cinematographer since 1995, later also as a DoP (Director of Photography). She writes, directs, shoots, produces and edit-produces films of all documentary formats.

Her work as director and DoP includes feature length documentary films for cinema and TV, reports, image films and the adaption of dance choreographies.
Her experience as DoP also includes video installations for artists.

She has filmed in many places of the world, a.o. in the ice of the High Arctic and the North Pole, in deserts like the Sahara and in regions of crisis.

Her films were screened at international film festivals, in cinemas and at exhibitions and received numerous awards.
