Ron Matz

Ron Matz's talents are diverse, ranging from acting to music to bodybuilding (formerly Mr. Universe).
As a bodyguard and guitarist, he roamed nocturnal Berlin with Robbie Williams and worked as a body instructor with Jodie Foster on her Oscar-winning role in "The Silence of the Lambs."
At the end of the 80's he appeared in front of the camera in US series such as "L.A. Law", "Sledgehammer" or "Hunter" and also acted quite frequently, for example at the "Steppenwolf Theater" in Chicago.
Back in Germany - at the end of the 90s - Ron mostly played the physical villain in almost all popular TV series formats, such as Tatort, Großstadtrevier, Rosenheim-Cops, SOKO Leipzig & Munich and many more, but also appeared in numerous cinema productions.
He was also able to demonstrate his versatility at various theaters (including the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, the Oldenburg State Theater, and the Heidelberg State Theater).

His career as a dubbing actor and voice talent took off when US series became popular in Germany as well and he became his own dubbing voice when they were translated into German.
Since then, language and tonality have increasingly become the central focus of his work.
In addition to dubbing and voiceovers, he also voices audio books, radio plays, commercials and image films. In the meantime, he has stood at the microphone for numerous well-known brands (e.g. Mercedes-Benz, BMW) and companies (e.g. Toyota, Roche or Ricola) and gave his voice to Hollywood actors such as Michael Madsen, Peter Coyote and Billy Zane for a long time.
