Daniela Klaßen

Daniela Klassen was born in Recklinghausen, completed her acting and speech training at the Michael Chekhov International School of Performing Arts Munich as well as privately with Janine Wegener, Madeleine Streiber, Bettina Ullrich, and Helmut Becker (Theater Academy August Everding Munich).
This was followed by theater engagements at Clingenburgfestspiele in Klingenberg am Main, Ensembletheater am Petersplatz, Theater Brett, Schuberttheater and Ateliertheater in Vienna, at the Karl-May-Spiele Göhl and Winzendorf (Austria) and at an Opera Project of Theater an der Wien (Georg Friedrich Händel: Rodelinda, scenic director: Philipp Harnoncourt, musical director: Nikolaus Harnoncourt).
In 2012 she took part in a historical interactive public site inspection of old abandoned barracks in Emden (Germany), organized by the theater Das letzte Kleinod which is famous for its site-specific productions. During the summer she played and sung the role of Ella in Ephraim Kishon's marriage farce Der Trauschein at Theater auf der Insel on the Lake Constance-island Reichenau. During summer 2014 she was involved as a singer in a Musical Show called Ein Kessel Buntes (A bowl of colourful things) after having played the role of Marianne Nägler in Curt Goetz' theater piece Das Haus in Montevideo at Freilicht- and Glashausspiele of the Theater auf der Insel. Since end of 2012 she has been acting in different comedy pieces, doing story-telling and singing Pop- and Rock-Songs as well as Chansons on AIDA cruises.
Daniela's role repertoire ranges from Ismene in Sophocles' Antigone and Gertrude in William Shakespeare's Hamlet, Anna Petrovna in Anton Chekhov's Ivanov and Elisa in Arthur Schnitzler's The murderer to Mariedl and Erna in Werner Schwab's The Presidents, Helen in Esther Vilar's Jealousy and Kruse in Ingrid Lausund's Herniated disc.
Daniela Klassen has also been seen in different debut performances of widely unknown authors.
Daniela also studied Camera Acting and theatre monologues with Dunja Tot and Gaby Buch as well as speech and voice with Ilse Maria Harzfeld in Vienna and was trained in being a professional (advertising) spokeswoman by Werner Wawruschka, René Kornfeld and Georg Zumann (Innenhofstudios Vienna).
In addition, she hosted recreational events for children and adolescents as well as educational theater on the issues of mobbing, drug addiction, alcohol abuse and HIV & AIDS in Austrian and German schools and worked as simulation patient for students at the Medical university of Vienna.
She has already participated in different film projects (at last 2011 in 1805 - A Town's Tale, director: Walter Bednarik, producer: Michael Reiseneder). In 2020 she participated in a music video for Vienna`s hiphop-musician Monobrother.
Since 2003 she has been living and working in Vienna - with occasional excursions into the Austrian provinces as well as to Germany, where she incidentally has a number of accommodation options. Since Octobre 2012 Daniela has regularly been booked as actress, story-teller and singer on different AIDA cruisers.
Recently she started acting in live-performances for Austria`s first escape-theatre Escape Your Nightmare in Rekawinkel (Niederösterreich close to Vienna).
