About Demet Gül
Demet Gül is a German actress of Turkish origin, born in Stuttgart. In 2004, she was accepted to the prestigious Otto-Falkenberg-Schule in Munich. During her studies, she performed in several productions of the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding, and the Münchner Kammerspiele. In 2008, she obtained a role as an actress at the Bavarian State Opera as Shehrezade in The Abduction from the Seraglio. In the same year, she graduated from the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule. In 2009, she received a leading role in the feature award-winning film "Almanya-Willkommen in Deutschland" directed by Yasemin Samdereli. In 2011 her film "Almanya-Willkommen in Deutschland" was running in the competition of the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.
