Kirsten Annika Lange

I was born in Essen. At the university there I studied German, English and Philosophy. Already during my studies I trained privately as an actress and was an intern at renowned theatres.

As a theatre actress I went on tour with numerous plays and was seen as Gretchen in Goethe's Faust in Koblenz. In addition, I have been on stage in numerous productions in NRW, including at the FFT Düsseldorf and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf. In 2014 I was engaged at the Landesbühne Oberfranken. There I was on stage in five productions, among others in the classics "Faust" and "Der Zerbrochne Krug".

In 2010 I founded the touring theatre "Filmtheater". This theatre company brings nostalgic films in charming black and white aesthetics back to the theatre stage. Our ensemble has numerous plays in its repertoire and can be seen with guest performances in German-speaking countries.


Since 2014, I have been on tour throughout Germany with the solo theatre play "Verliebt verlobt verschwunden". 2021 my new one woman play "Halbnackte Bauarbeiter an adaption of Martina Brandls novel conceived. Further productions would be, among others, the two-person comedy "The best days of my life", "Two across" and the title role of Marie Antoinette in the new play "Marie Antoinette bittet zum Kaffee".

In addition to my stage activities, I also enjoy playing in front of the camera and thus telling more interesting, amusing and moving stories.
