About Monika Maria Herzing
After finishing her training in movement theatre in Freiburg, Germany, she studied drama, dance and choreography at Bretton Hall University of Leeds, England with a degree as BA (Hons) of Arts. She received a scholarship to expand her studies of performing arts in San Fransisco and New York and obtained further degrees.
She commands broad experiences in theatre, tv and film over the years in diverse genres, such as classic, contemporary, modern, abstract, improvisation, comedy,... and was able to present it in various locations, like: city theatre, open air theatre, private theater, off theatre, business theatre,...
She lived, studied and worked in New Zealand, France, England and the USA. Furthermore she worked as tutor and choreographer for drama schools and theatres, such as Cologne, Koblenz, Munich, Marin County (USA), Wakefield (GB). Her principal residence is Munich since 2006, working mainly as actress for theatre and film, as well as choreographer.
