5. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analysis tool of Google Inc., with the aid of which we analyse the interaction of the users with our web sites
in order to improve our web site. The data analysed include, for example, when the user visited the web site, the frequency of visits and
from where. Cookies are used for this purpose. Google Analytics also records the IP addresses of the web site visitors. For this purpose
we use the IP mask method, which ensures that not the entire IP address is passed on to Google, but only part of it.
Once the data are recorded, Google analyses them for us and summarises them, for example in reports about the web site activity. If required
by law or if third parties process these data for Google, Google will also pass this information on to these third parties. In this case the
data are used in anonymised or pseudonymised form. In all other cases, we have forbidden Google to use the data, by means of the data clearance
options provided by the service.
Note:
Google offers a deactivation add-on for browsers. This gives the web site user more control over which data about the usage of web sites
