A man and a woman cross Syria at war. Taysir (40) returns from his exile in France to bury the body of his elder brother Kamal, who died during the fighting ravaging the country. He must take him to their home village in the north of the country where their ancestors lie. Hélène, his passenger, wants to leave the country and return to France. They don’t know each other but there is no turning back for either of them. Despite the threats they go through, Taysir and Hélène eventually get to know each other during this road trip partnership of convenience.
