"The bullet is for you, Mo Asumang!". With this line of text, the neo-Nazi band "White Aryan Rebels" called for the murder of TV presenter and actress Mo Asumang in a hate song. This shock inspired Mo to a cinematic search for clues, which ZDF will show on November 5 in the series 'Das kleine Fernsehspiel'. On her research trip, Mo Asumang tries to fathom the causes of such hatred and the exclusion of migrants. Mo Asumang takes the neo-Nazis' malicious advice seriously: "Go back to where you came from! Is that her birthplace, Kassel? Or Ghana, where her father comes from? But there she is considered white. But a stay there opens her eyes to a whole new way of questioning the racism and Germanic cult of German neo-Nazis. Mo`s search for identity also becomes a spiritual journey to African and Germanic ancestors and cult places. But not only that. Mo mingles with 3,000 neo-Nazis at an NPD demonstration, upsets Nazi cadres, scours brown websites on the Internet, and descends into the "Himmler Crypt" of Wewelsburg Castle. An intense, but always ironically humorous journey that not only leads to shedding a personal trauma brought about by prejudice, hatred and fear. Mo outgrows the neo-Nazis in the process.
