Brief synopsis

Young Joan of Arc is a particularly pious child. Her childhood in the village of Domrémy was quiet until the English pillaged it. Her certainty that she is receiving divine messages is reinforced by frequent confessions and conversations with the clergy. She is thus determined to follow the voices spurring her to deliver France from English domination.
